English Edwardian Gold Mirror with Urn and Trailing Leaves Surmounting the Frame
About the Item
English Edwardian gold mirror with urn and trailing leaves surmounting the rectangular frame. This unusual mirror features an oval mirror within a rectangular frame, creating a scene within a larger scene. The delicate tracery emanating from the urn is built around wire and gesso, some small pieces of gesso are missing, but it does not detract from the overall elegant effect of this looking glass. Circa 1890-1910.
