About the Item
Outstanding Large scale gilt iron eyelash sunburst mirror. Spain, 1950s
The frame is made is entirely made by hand with alternating hand-hammered curved and straight rays in eyelash shape. Finished in gold leaf. Gorgeous gilding and patina.
This XL sunburst mirror was manufactured at the Mid-Century Modern period and combines midcentury and Brutalist accents.
It would be a good choice for any Midcentury, contemporary or classical ambiance. Interesting to be used in a powder room or bathroom, in an entry hall over a console table or placed in a bedroom or dressing room.
Very good vintage condition.
Minor wear commensurate with age. Minor blur on the mirror glass
