French, 19th Century Painted Trumeau
About the Item
A gorgeous 19th century French trumeau. Framed in mahogany and rosewood, a beautiful oil on board painting of a warm coastal scene is fixed above the mirror. The beveled mirror may be more recent to the piece. Cleaned and polished with French wax, the wood gleams with its original warm tones.
