About the Item
The Roebling wall mirror was originally conceived during Luft Tanaka Studio's work on the interior design of Chino Grande, a restaurant in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. We wanted the space to be warm and unpretentious but still unmistakably refined, with a combination of modern and old-fashioned that would reflect the neighborhood. The Roebling Wall Mirror offers a contemporary take on the classical masonry and brickwork of Brooklyn with custom elements created in collaboration with Calyer Ceramics.
Made to order. Ships in 7-8 weeks.
Shown in white oak and speckled white ceramic finish.

Luft Tanaka Studio
Luft Tanaka Studio specializes in creating original art objects, furniture, and lighting at the intersection of design, technology, and craft. Originally from Kasugai, Japan, Luft moved to New York City in 2008 and studied Product Design at Parsons School of Design. Luft utilizes his intuitive understanding of materials and processes, to meticulously craft unique and covetable pieces of art. The Kawa Series, which he produces by casting liquid porcelain into sewn leather molds, is a result of years of experimentation and invention of a production method completely unique to Luft Tanaka Studio.
