Folk Art Lacquer Speckled Mirror by Artist Ira Yeager

About the Item

Charming folk art wood framed mirror featuring a whimsical lacquer speckled marigold yellow finish by artist Ira Yeager (1938-2022). The mirror has a thick wood frame constructed in the mid-20th century. Later painstakingly painted with a festive marigold color over a dramatic black ground. Very heavy and solid with hanging hardware on the back. Ira loved to paint furniture for his gallery to display alongside his artwork. Provenance: From the estate of artist Ira Yeager, Calistoga, CA.
