French Louis XVI Style Mirror
About the Item
A French petite mirror is the Louis XVI style. The painted gilt carved frame has a pierced crest depicting a military helmet, sword, shield, quivers and ax. The original mirror plate is surrounded by the mirror frame’s beaded trim. Some repairs have been made to the crest and there is slight foxing on the mirror so make sure to view the detailed images to see the current condition.
