About the Item
A French giltwood rectangular mirror with gadrooning from the early 20th century. This French mirror features a rectangular frame, adorned with a beautiful variety of moldings, from small beads to ropes and large gadroons. The inner frame surrounding the glass, is decorated with a series of low-relief scrolls, contrasting perfectly with the outer frame. Placed anywhere in a home, this elegant French giltwood mirror circa 1900 will brighten up any wall, perhaps placed above a credenza, console table or a chest-of-drawers.
