About the Item

George II style painted & gilt mirror in the Manner of William Kent. Gorgeous reproduction in a aged green painted finish with gilt embellishments on crown, shell and egg & dart motifs. Modern aged looking glass installed in segments with rosettes. Originally purchased through Holly Hunt Showroom, maker is likely shown on backside but too heavy at photographing. Some slight loss to finish in a couple of spots. Otherwise good overall condition. Measures: 67.5” high x 50” wide x 2” thick Mirror dims: Provenance: Private Collection, Bridehampton, New York.
