Mid-20th Century Gilt Brass and Crystal Wall Mirror Attributed to Palwa
About the Item
A charming wall-mounted circular vanity mirror in a gilt-brass frame, with decorative surround of high quality crystal pieces. Attributed to Palme and Walter (or Palwa), second half of the 20th century.
Well-designed and constructed piece, with a pleasing sparkle to the crystal frame, which overhangs and reflects in the mirror glass. The piece is in good vintage condition with a nice patina and deep tone to the metal. For best color, we suggest image 6. There is light age-appropriate wear, including some nibbles to the crystals and some renewed fixings; for us these points are visible on very close inspection only. See images for details and overview. Brass hanging loop on the reverse.

- Mirror glass diameter 23.5cm (9.3") excluding the crystals.
The decorative frame is held to the mirror by two screws, and will be removed for shipping.
