Neoclassical Style Wall Mirror with Oval Painting in the Top
About the Item
A gilded wood wall arc shaped mirror embellished with a bay leaves garland that forms a wreath as a finial. The frame around the mirror and painting is reeded and there are some acanthus leaves affixed around it. Between painting and the mirror there is a pierced bridge made of carved wood branches of roses. The painting depict a flower arrangement of roses, peonies, lily of the valley, daisies, and a lizard in a wild garden foliage vase over a console. The mirror is beveled.
