Italian frame, Renaissance revival from the second half of the 19th Florentine, carved and gilded wood. Presented with a mercury 19th century mirror. The finesse of the sculpture can be attributed to Luigi Frullini (1839-1897) famous Florentine cabinetmaker, whose works are kept in the world's greatest museums, Musée d'Orsay, Metropolitan Museum, etc. Mirror size: 67,5 x 55,5 cm Overall: 114 x 103 cm

    Replacements made: A frieze pattern on the bottom side of the frame has been remoulded in stucco, it is highlighted in red in one of the photos. The rest is entirely original. Wear consistent with age and use.
