Unique and highly stylish midcentury mirror. In an attempt to give you a good idea of what this Mid-Century Modern mirror looks like, we have taken photos inside and outside and on different backgrounds. The beauty in this 1960s mirror lies in its 'simplicity'. However, that is what great designs always seem to be….simple. Why only few designers had the talent to 'catch' this simplicity is food for thought, but what is crystal clear is that whomever designed this mirror, grasped the concept (so to speak). The perfectly oval frame consist of beautifully shaped and solid pieces of coromandel in different color variations. Apart from a few truly minor imperfections this mirror is as good as new. It was either made or sold by Art Studio Hopman in Alkmaar (Holland) in the 1960s and in image 9 you can see that there are hooks on the back for both horizontal and vertical wall mounting.
