This is a very large antique overmantel mirror. A 230cm (7'5") x 189.5cm (6'2") English, giltwood and gesso wall mirror in the classical taste dating to the mid-19th century, circa 1850.

Scroll appliqué to ribbed ground in surbaissé pediment
Shallow frieze and reeded columns with ribbon detail
