Antique French Corbeille Bed Louis XVI
About the Item
Indulge in the grandeur of the French aristocracy with this stunning antique bed in the Louis XVI style. Crafted in France in the year 1900, this rectangular-shaped bed features beautifully carved details and upholstered finish in a beige colour. The headboard stands tall at 138cm and the footboard at 65cm, adding to the regal elegance of this piece. This original bed is perfect for adults who appreciate the charm of antique furniture. It is compatible with a UK king-sized mattress.
Headboard & Footboard are upholstered in a floral fabric (Marks to left of headboard would require a professional clean)
The bed has multi coloured wooden Rose carvings around the frame. The original lacquer is distressed and is flaking and chipping on the side rails.

To make use of the full 200cm length you may require a UK King curved bottom mattress
Sommier Slat Base or Divan will be required (The bed has ledges inside which could be used for a slat frame to stand on)
