About the Item
This bed is simple in its essence, composed by a metallic frame over brass feet, but the headboard is something unique: on his career, Arnaldo Pomodoro explored the decoration of furniture establishing collaboration with - among the others - Osvaldo Borsani. The aim of these collaborations was to bring art and beauty also in unexpected spot of the home, usually relegated only to functional roles. This headboard has been created by Arnaldo Pomodoro and the artisans of the Cereda firm for a private commission and is a unique piece cataloged at the Pomodoro Archive with the code V / 62/3. Carved wood, bronze and enlamed metal constitute the essence of a true work of art, far from beeing just a furniture decoration.
