French Second Empire Carabiniers Cuirass

About the Item

A 19th century French breast and back plate or cuirass, the steel and brass breast plate with the star burst and French eagle. Original leather still beneath the shoulder straps and engraved with the makers name and date. Manufre Raull De Klingenthal TLL No1137 June 1833.
