The first edition, first impression, with no further impressions stated. In the original unclipped dust wrapper.
Signed and dedicated by the author to the front free endpaper; 'For Arthur From Agatha, 1958'.
From the library of Rolling Stone, Charlie Watts.
'Ordeal by Innocence' surrounds the mystery of Jacko Argyle, who dies in prison whilst serving a sentence for killing his mother. Two years after Jacko's death, his alibi appears, and his family suddenly realise that he was innocent, and that one of them must be the real killer.
In the original cloth binding in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally in lovely condition. Slight bumping to the extremities. Dust wrapper is very smart with shelf wear to the extremities. Spotting to the reverse of the wrap. Handling marks to the wrap. Internally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with the odd spot and marginal age toning.
