Hard bound first edition monograph on pioneering feminist artist/performance artist Hannah Wilke. Titled "Hannah Wilke: A Retrospective," it was published in 1989 in conjunction with an exhibition at the University of Missouri, St. Louis. 176 pages filled with documentary photographs in black and white and color, along with writings by Wilke and an introductory essay. Features a signature by Wilke along with a labial drawing iconic for her work. From the library of renowned art critic and historian doré Ashton, though unmarked thus. Now in a protective Mylar wrapper.
