A photo-diary collection of Araki’s works created over the course of 2001. Digitally dated, full bleed black and white images in typical Araki style - women suspended in bondage ropes, painted nudes and composed studio images. These are placed beside photographs of every day life, a sleeping cat, photo shoot set-ups and images of friends. A brilliant self-portrait of life as an artist.
Hardback with no dust jacket as issued, with publisher's original illustrated cardboard. Illustrated with full-page colour and black and white images on every page.

Nobuyoshi Araki
Nobuyoshi Araki is famous for his provocative, erotic photographs and prolific production; over 500 books have been devoted to his work. Araki has depicted flowers, food, figurines, and bodies with a distinct sensuality that reaches its apex in his close-up shots of female genitalia, pictures of women in traditional Japanese rope bondage, and photographs of Tokyo sex clubs. To Araki has been dedicated exhibitions at Tate Modern, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and the Albertina Museum in Vienna, among other institutions.
