About the Item

A beautiful catalogue which was published in 1995, still in the original slipcase, to coincide with an exhibition of the collection of the Museum of Classical Chinese Furniture in San Francisco. The catalogue and plates - of 100 pieces in total, is divided in eight headings: Platforms and beds, stools, chairs, tables, storage furniture, screen, racks and stands, game boards, bowls and boxes, brush pots. All of which are photographed and illustrated in colour. At the end of the book there is a useful A-Z Index/Glossary of terms.
