Sotheby's: The Joseph M. Meraux Collection of Rare and Unusual Clocks, 6/1993. Softcover auction catalogue 500 lots with results. "Meraux's interest was in acquiring," said Michael Turner, Sotheby's London clock specialist. "He had those 500 clocks scattered throughout his New Orleans mansion. Most were French and from the 19th Century." Great reference for any clock collector.
