About the Item
A pair of highly stylized clip-on earrings made from 830/1000 silver and set with yellow jade stones. Anonymous French silversmith circa 1925 in the style of Pierre Turin. Depicting angel wings this set is an example of the Devine Art Deco style that surfaced in France during the 1920s. Originally this pair might have been regular earrings or brooches. The clip mechanism covers the hallmarks and only the number 8 is to be seen.
