French Bronze Buckle Brooch Line Vautrin

About the Item

A sculptured bronze brooch with a clip that be used on lapel or as a scarf tie by French Parisian art jewelry designer Line Vautrin (1913-1997) In a rare Inca motif, with triangular cutout, scrolling lines and seven loops on the edge. This was a series the designer made circa 1946 for a small group of pieces, mostly buckles and brooches. Signed "Line Vautrin" verso under the clip.
