Midcentury Era White Jade and 14-Karat Yellow Gold Chinoiserie Styled Pendant
About the Item
This jade and yellow gold pendant is unsigned, but presumed to have been made in Europe, likely England, in circa 1965 in a Chinese inspired style. The pendant is composed of a ring of white jade with fourteen karat yellow gold figural seascape within it composed of trees, foliage, boats and a small shack. The foliage is highlighted with prong set semi-precious stones. The top of the clasp is marked "585" for the gold content of 14-karat.
