Stylish Art Deco Velvet and Chrome Handbag Purse, circa 1930s
About the Item
For your consideration is this superbly stylish and rare 1930s black silk velvet clutch bag originating from England. Features a chrome frame and clasp, the semi-circular front section of the chrome lifts up to form the handle if so wished, or you can use the bag as a clutch bag. Lined in cream grosgrain silk with an inner pocket and a built in change purse. Labelled 'Made in England' to the inside of the change purse. This bag feels lovely to use with it's soft body and light weight. The interior is reasonably generous in size and perfect for modern day use.
