Women's Large Cultured Pearl Choker Necklace with a 14-Karat White Gold Clasp
About the Item
This vintage women's cultured pearl choker necklace is presumed to have been made in North America in circa 1950 in the Baroque style. The pearls are of a good size and well matched with a strong iridescent luster. The pearls are individually hand knotted and the disc styled clasp is made of 14-karat white gold with a pearl accent. There does appear to be a possible maker's mark on the back of the clasp, but considerably illegible so the maker will be noted as 'unknown'. The entire strand with the clasp measures approximately 16.5 inches and the pearls are slight under a quarter inch.
