3 Masted Sailing Ship in a Bottle

About the Item

3 masted sailing ship in a bottle Detailed model ship diorama within a spirit bottle dates to circa 1920. It portrays a three masted fully rigged wooden sailing ship at a harbour in Cornwall, with a hand painted finish. These most collectable pieces can be described as folk art and were often made at sea by sailors with spare time to fill when not working on deck. The bottle is 11” long and 4” in diameter VC46.
