18th Century Italian Ecclesiastical Tabernacle with Aragonite
About the Item
18th Century Italian tabernacle with aragonite. It is hand-painted and carved with scroll details and has been kept in its original condition. The tabernacle was originally used in a historic Italian church as a "tronetto eucaristico" which means "eucharistic throne." It is paired with a piece of aragonite which coordinates with the burgundy, brownish/redish colors of the tabernacle.
The piece is preserved in its original form and paired with the mineral to create a beautiful artistic work of historical ecclesiastical significance.
