About the Item
Antique French copper work picturing Jesus Christ talking to children, illustrating famous "let the little children come to me" biblical recommandation. Early 19th century circa 1820 - 1830.
Finely executed work using quite a rare technique for biblical scenes theme.
The copper plate is set into a gold leaf gilt wood frame (same production period).
Our set in in very good condition.
