19th Century Irish Giltwood Barometer in the Baroque Style
About the Item
A fascinating Irish giltwood barometer in the baroque style. The large stick barometer features a large carved giltwood frame with a shell motif. The dial having the original twin Vernier scale adjuster with weather predictions from 27 to 31 and set behind bevel edged glass and original adjustment knobs below.
The mercury thermometer also encased with bevelled edge glass flanked by spiral column's above a centered carved masked face.
