DAVID BERINGER (1756-1821)
The fruitwood cube with coloured paper applied to each face, stamped D.BERINGER. With brass gnomons to each face. Mounted onto an adjustable collar with turned fruitwood column, onto a rectangular base with inset compass well.
Two labels are on the base of the instrument. Nice quality of freshness for the colors.
Germany 18th - early 19th century.
