Vintage Westinghouse Shortwave Radio in French Polished Mahogany Case
About the Item
A handsome Westinghouse combination shortwave radio, the French polished mahogany case housing a tube movement with multiple radio settings, made and signed by Westinghouse. This radio has a shortwave function broadcasting in megacycles, as well as an AM function broadcasting in kilocycles. In apparent working order, but requires an external antenna. A terrific example of American industrial style from the art moderne period.
