We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning Vintage Bob Jackson Reynolds 531 steel touring winter trainer road bike History I am selling my entire bike collection which comprises of 16 bikes, all luxury high end pieces, there are colnagos, cervelo’s, lemon’s, specialized, with carbon titanium or columbus steel frames and some of the most expensive parts in the world, there are also some frames, again Titanium and Colnago, Bianchi etc, some wheels Zipp 303’s, Campaganolo Hyperion carbons etc, and then a few parts. I also have a NOS in the case Dura Ace 25th Anniversary groupset. These are all that is left over from my bike shop, I have kept them for years hanging around my furniture workshop as pieces of art and to remember the good old days, my new warehouse doesn’t have the same hanging space so these all need to go! Description This bike is a Bob Jackson, made with Reynolds 531 steel, it was being used as a racer for training, its a really lovely looking and riding road bike Specification FRAME FORKS & HEADSET:- Reynolds 531 steel, top tube 52cm C-T-C, seat post tube 48cm C-T-C, 49.5cm C-T-T head tube 83mm WHEELSET:- Hubs Normandy, Rims Mavic MA2, Skewers Mailard, tyres Nutrak GROUPSET:- Chaninset Campagnolo, 42/36 chain rings, 170mm crank arms, Front mech Suntour Cyclone, rear mech Suntour Cyclone, Brake shifters Shimano Dura Ace, Brake callipers Shimano 600, Cassette screw on block, headset Stronglite Competition, Pedals Olympic-64 BARS STEM SADDLE & SEATPOST:- Handlebars 35cm, Stem 70mm Milremo, Saddle Selle Italia Anatomic Condition please read All these bikes have sat unused for some time, I only ever rode the Specialized Tarmac Pro personally, all other pieces were bought solely for there collectability and rarity, each bike has been fully deep cleaned from top to bottom, they have not been serviced and have sat unused for years. As such they will require a service or check-up before riding, they may need the odd tweak here or there, they may need new break and gear cables, wheels truing and so on, any good bike shop can give them a once over for a small fee. Please note, on this bike one of the rear eyelets are missing, on the drive side, this means you can't fit a pannier or mud guard unless you have a new one fitted This bike has some light patina marks here and there in the form of the odd tiny bit of cable rub or odd chip Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point.
