19th Century Circa 1860 Victorian Miniature English White Terrier Taxidermy
About the Item
A very rare Victorian taxidermy dog, often scaled down by the best naturalist of the period. Also could be the extinct English White Terrier circa 1860
Housed in its original bow fronted and ebonised case on bun feet, with reserve painted gilt bottom border, all the original foliage seems present and correct. The dog has his brass mounted collar. Overall a completely untouched and original example.
