About the Item
Antique pair of pressed glass humidors by F.C. Rice Mercantile Cigar Co. with their lids. This set has two different sized humidor jars. Both are in good condition considering their age and that they are glass. Both jars are in very good condition. I did not feel any chips. I did not see any cracks. They are rather heavy glass pieces so them showing little to no signs of wear is not surprising. Both lids do show small chips along the frosted portion that fits into the jar's opening. These are to be expected from typical usage over the years. This damage is also photographed.
Pressed glass was a process dating to the late 1800s to roughly 1910. F.C. Rice Mercantile Cigar Co was based out of St. Louis, which at one time was the cigar manufacturing capitol of the US.
