This large and heavy pair of antique bookends are unsigned, but presumed to have originated from the United States and date to approximately 1920 and done in the period Art Deco style. The bookends are composed of cast steel with a bronze patination and depict a figural large brick fireplace and hearth. One appears to have been cleaned or exposed to sunlight as presented in the photos.
