About the Item
Beautiful pair of vintage Art Noeveau bookends by Verona. This set in beautifully aged cast iron reminiscence of the art noeveau era with its use of arches and curved forms. In this case, a nude woman “Eve” is stylistically depicted in the sensual but stoic ornamentation of the era. Eve is depicted before the fall delighted in the garden of Eden. Manufactured by Verona Foundry.
