Cassini terrestrial globe- Roma 1790. Observations of the voyages and new discoveries of Englishman Captain Cook.
Along with the 1792 Cassini celestial globe with charts of the heavens of the 1790 globe.
Republished from originals in antiqued yellowed look. Both labeled in Italian. With octagonal mounts on mahogany stands.
Condition: The overall condition is very good with only minor age and use wear including some fine scratches and slight wear to the globes which do not detract from the fine presentation.
Each Globe measures 17.5” wide by 17.5” deep by 18.5” high
