19th Century French Country Carved Pine Folding Library Step Ladder

About the Item

Decorate a study or a library with this whimsical antique ladder. Crafted in Lyon, France circa 1880 and made of pine, the sturdy step ladder features six steps including a wider and deeper step at the top. Practical and useful, the rustic ladder can be put away by folding the bracket with metal hinges at the bottom. The tall ladder is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich medium walnut patina; use this library essential in a study, or kitchen to retrieve books or access tall cabinets.
