French 19th Century Solid Oak Coffer

About the Item

A French solid oak carved and paneled coffer from the 1800’s. The sturdy trunk opens on hand forged iron hinges with its original working lock and key to a wide open interior. Just under the top you’ll find a playful repetitive carving the length of the trunk's facade. Cleaned and polished with a French paste wax, this antique is ready for your immediate use.
