French 19th Century Champagne Riddling Rack

About the Item

This is a riddling rack, a standing wooden A-frame rack that’s used in the process of making champagne. It has 120 holes that secure the bottles by the neck at an angle. This is one of the best ways to display a large selection of wine bottles. The dark planks of wood have some visible signs of wear. Circa 1890. Make sure to view the detailed images.
