Georgian Boot Rack
About the Item
Georgian Boot Rack in excellent condition 1830-40. Retaining its original finish that appears to have only been waxed down through the years. The Mahogany has a very warm color and patina to it and it the Brass handle is original. There are a couple of old repairs on the cut out slots but they were done well and are very tight. Solid and tight and a beautiful example of a Boot Rack if this period.
Condition: Very Good. Some previous repairs on the cut outs and glue blocks added on the underside. The usual age and distress marks on the finish for a piece of this age, color and finish worn in some areas.
