19th C English Rosewood Music Stand with Candle Sconces
About the Item
A fine example of an English rosewood music stand with adjustable lyre form tray, with hinged extending brass candle sconces on each side, turned pedestal with adjustable height, on a tripod base with bun feet. Dates to the early 19th century in very good overall condition, with nice patina, some looseness on one sconce, base losses, other imperfections and light wear commensurate with age and use. Dimensions: Approximately 45.5 in H (down) x 23 in W (sconces not extended) x 18 in D. Adjusts in height about 12 inches.
