Title: Large Vintage French Cartier brooch silk scarf pink irish linen pillow Description: Large custom made luxury cushion created from an exquisite vintage, pure silk Cartier fashion scarf in a striking design and colour. Featuring two beautiful antique gold broaches, dripping with ornate diamonds and pretty jewels of sparkling sapphire and turquoise colouring. As an extra detail of its luxury finish, the silk is covered in a subtle foulard weave repeating across the surface illustrating Cartier’s signature motifs - both it’s logo and jewelry - in raised texture, this is especially notable when caught by the light. Considered one of the most luxurious brands in the world, the Parisian empire originated in 1847 with Louis-François Cartier. The fabric was personally hand-picked by Katie at antiques market ‘Marche aux Puces Saint-Ouen’ on the outskirts of Paris. On a sumptuous silk soft to the touch. Backed in new 100% pure Irish linen, the aristocrat of textiles and certified by the Irish Linen Guild, lined in a layer of natural bamboo cloth, filled with new custom-made plush duck feather insert and a concealed zip. The traditional oatmeal color linen is a combination of the unbleached raw colour of the natural flax plant on the weft intertwined with pristine white on the warp, resulting in a beautiful melange effect. It has been created from a repurposed, up-cycled, recycled fabric, used with the intentions on promoting a more eco-friendly environment. We both celebrate and cherish the past and take care with rare and precious vintage and antique materials.
