Lift is part of an ongoing series of innovative textiles designed by Konstantin Grcic in collaboration with Maharam. A sporty, patterned knit with technical and molecular references, Lift continues Grcic’s exploration of nontraditional textile manufacturing techniques.
Founded in 1902, Maharam offers a comprehensive collection of textiles for commercial and residential interiors. Maharam pillows feature celebrated textile designs from the 20th and 21st centuries, from re-editions of the work of Charles and Ray Eames, Alexander Girard and Verner Panton to recent collaborations with Hella Jongerius, Paul Smith, Scholten & Baijings, and Studio Job.
Konstantin Grcic is an industrial designer based in Munich. He apprenticed with Jasper Morrison before establishing his own practice, Konstantin Grcic Industrial Design (KGID), in 1991. Since then, he has designed furniture, lighting, and other products for clients including Classicon, Flos, Muji, and Vitra.
