Fine Vintage European rug. Measures: 8'3'' x 11'6''. This hyper-elaborated "Garden" windowpane panel design shows numerous squares in red, rust, rose, straw, cerulean, near black, green and pale blue enclosing cypresses, rosettes, octagons, palmettes, crosses, and all manner of other semi-geometric elements. Polychrome diagonally striped border. Cotton foundation, moderate/medium weave. As new condition.
