About the Item
A beautiful Caucasian Shirvan area rug in allover design in abrash navy blue and ivory with design accent colors of pale yellow, French blue circa the 1880s. The rare small Shirvan rug could have been woven to be used as a bagface or a prayer rug. The freestyle allover design is very appealing. The combination of small size, design and the colors makes this an ideal wall art.
