Antique Khotan rug with a high knot count and precise attention to detail. We love that with each border layer there is a completely different pattern. The symbols provide endless wonder and study. We see plenty of blossoming fruit, flowing water, mountains as well as protection from evil wishes throughout. Repairs may be visible upon close inspection. 7-8 Moderate wear throughout. Some repairs may be visible upon close inspection. Most of our rugs with this level of wear have a fully restored foundation that is strong and free of holes. 9-10 Heavy wear, lots of foundation showing. Repairs may be visible upon close inspection.
