About the Item

This Turkmenistan Yomud tribe ceremonial horse blanket is crafted from brown felt wool and dates to the early 20th Century. It features a mix embroidered tribal patterns and motifs as well as side flaps. This blanket would have been used exclusively for ceremonial occasions and would've covered the full length of the horses back. Dimensions: Length 244cm x Width 180cm.
