About the Item
This vintage Boucherouite rug is made of multiple, colorful recycled pieces of clothes knotted on a cotton base. Women in Morocco have been using this technique for generations to recycle the family clothes cutting them in tiny, colorful pieces of fabric they assemble following their imagination.
The dimensions of the rug make it a versatile rug you can move all around the house, from your bedside to the kitchen or the entryway of course. Another idea would be to hang it on a wall like a colorful piece of art!
Also, this rug can be easily cleaned using water and soap, which makes it easy when you have pets or kids around!
Approximate dimensions are 4x7feet (+6inches tassels) / 123x213cm (+15cm tassels).
The rug has not been cut and will come to you in its original shape.
